A mentor of mine, Dave Meltzer has been instrumental in helping me build a mindset and persona that attracts exactly what I want in my business and personal life.
It’s a concept that took me a little while to fully understand but was very quick to see results from putting it into practice. This concept has helped increase my overall happiness along with my business revenue. Since implementing this concept, my business has been 100% inbound, meaning individuals and corporations are coming to me. I don’t know about you, but I’ve dreamed of that happening for a very, very long time but could never crack that code.
The concept is “Ask and Attract.” In order for this to work, you must be persistent and consistent with your pursuit of making this a habit. That means every day, every week, every month, every year - no excuses.
So what is ask and attract all about? This means asking for exactly what you want and attracting what you want through putting out relevant content, messaging and information. In order to attract who you want, you have to provide value to that community, for free, on a consistent basis.
By doing that, you are positioning yourself as an expert, helping out the community that you are trying to serve and attracting more of those types of people to your circle. The goal here is to add massive value. You want people to be better off having met you than having not met you. Simple as that.
By adding massive value, for free, on a consistent basis - it gives you the upper hand over time. It makes people feel indebted to you and they naturally want to give back. What that creates is opportunity, the opportunity to ask and ask BIG.
This is where people drop the ball. They are afraid to ask big and therefore they settle for much less than they deserve. Now a lot of times people don’t ask big because they feel as if they haven’t added enough value yet which may be true. If that’s the case, then go back to the drawing board and start figuring out how to do that, solicit feedback from your community and ask them what they are looking for.
When you ask for exactly what you want, you’d be surprised at how often it actually comes to fruition. As the saying goes, if you don’t ask, you don’t get.
Spend some time asking your community that you are trying to serve what they need help with, be the one to go and cultivate that content and information, ask for what you want and see your business grow, your happiness increase and the feeling of fulfillment take over.
